Description
Charcoal Range Hood Filters — Carbon Filter for Range Hood, Range Hood Charcoal Filter Replacement & Odour Filter
This 10″ x 10.875″ x 0.50″ charcoal carbon odor filter is a direct-fit range hood charcoal filter replacement for compatible ductless and recirculating range hoods. Charcoal range hood filters trap cooking odors by passing air through an activated carbon pad before recirculating it back into the kitchen. A charcoal hood filter should be replaced every 3–6 months depending on cooking frequency — unlike aluminum grease filters, charcoal filters for range hood applications are not washable and must be replaced. This odour filter and odor filter is manufactured to OEM dimensions for a drop-in fit.

Reduces Cooking Smoke and Odors
The Charcoal Carbon odour filter is installed into over-the-range hoods to help eliminate cooking smoke and odor. When preparing meals on your stove, several airborne pollutants such as smoke, grease, steam, moisture and other chemicals spread throughout your kitchen and home. This cooktop hood filter improves kitchen air quality by reducing the amount of smoke and odors from cooking.
When you turn the fan of the Range Hood on, it pulls air from above the stove cooktop and either sends the fumes and odors outside through ventilation ducting, or it routes air through a series of grease and charcoal filters before returning it back into the kitchen airstream.
Recyclable, Safe for Environment
This filter is disposable, so do not wash it. To improve the quality of your air and the performance of your range hood, replace this stove hood filter every 6 months. Before purchasing, be sure to measure your current oven hood filter and confirm it matches this filter’s measurement description.

Installation and Replacement Guide
Turn off the range hood before replacing the charcoal filter. Remove the aluminum grease filter first to access the carbon filter bay directly behind or below it. Slide or unclip the old charcoal filter from its retaining channel, discard it without washing, and insert the RCPS0125-1-10×10.875×0.50 into the same position. Reinstall the grease filter over the carbon filter bay and restore power. The new charcoal filter is ready for immediate use — no break-in period required. Replace on schedule every 3–6 months to maintain effective odor absorption.
